I have tried a few recipes and this is still my favourite slow cooker snack mix recipe . We wanted to give these as gifts this year so I also created a printable gift label to add to the finished bags (link to print off the label is at the bottom of the page, just below the recipe.)
This recipe is very versatile and can be switched up easily to suit your preferences. We chose to use Chex cereal, Bugles, Cheerios, pretzels, and peanuts. There are so many other snacks that could be added or swapped; almonds, cheese stix, goldfish crackers...
I was surprised with how simple this was to make. And it makes your house smell snackishly delicious. Once we had everything set out it took my daughter and I a total of 10 minutes to have it all in the slow cooker cooking away.
I hope you enjoy the recipe and printable. Please like Myfunvelope on Facebook for more fun craft ideas!
Ingredients
6 cups of Chex cereal
3 cups of Bugles
1 cup of pretzels
2 cups of Cheerios cereal
1 cup of peanuts
1/3 cups of melted butter

In a separate bowl combine the melted butter, Worcestershire sauce, and spices. Pour slowly into your slow cooker tossing gently to coat the cereal mixture.
